About Dr. T

My name is Tony Erjavac. I’m a veteran, husband, father, economist, manager, and engineer. While that sounds like an eclectic conglomeration of diverse talents, I assure you, they are listed in the order in which they were achieved. I have a PhD in Systems Engineering, so people I work with call me Dr. T.

I like to think of myself as a handyman: I’ll try to fix anything. I take pride in solving tough problems. I don’t claim to be a master of much, what I believe I bring to the discussion is the ability to assess a problem holistically.

I love my cars. I have a large shop, enjoy working on cars, and have even won a few trophies.

I was born in Northridge, California; grew up in The Valley, and spent everyday of the summer before I went active duty in the USAF at the beach.

My wife and I have two children: my wife is a retired librarian, our son is an electrical engineer and our daughter is a marine biologist.

My wife and I have been married for over 40 years. We were married young and have had a great time.

My Beliefs

I believe in the U.S. Constitution.

I believe our founders wanted to preserve our freedom to self-govern.

I believe the U.S. Constitution exists solely to preserve our rights; never to limit our rights.

I believe in what the American Flag represents and that people should stand for the National Anthem.

I believe our representatives are elected to form a discussion around our thoughts and ideas.

I believe if we don’t protect our freedom there are many bureaucrats in Washington who will gladly tell us how to live.

I believe our right to govern our own lives is constantly under attack more from within than from abroad.

I believe our apathy has allowed bureaucrats to make American politics an industry rather than an institution of the people’s ideals.

I believe taxes are too high.

I believe in honesty and objectivity.

I value diversity of thought.

I believe our government works outside the laws of economics and it’s our responsibility to hold them accountable.+
